Yogyakarta, 2 October 2025 – The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPNVY), proudly shares an exciting opportunity for graduate study at Ehime University, Japan. The Graduate School of Agriculture at Ehime University offers advanced master’s and doctoral programs designed to cultivate global researchers and professionals who contribute to sustainable agricultural development and food security.
The program emphasizes the integration of bioscience, bioresources, and agricultural technology to address global challenges such as environmental conservation, food production, and resource management. Students from Asia, Africa, and the Pacific Rim, including Indonesia, are encouraged to join the Asian, African, and Pacific Rim (AAP) Special Course, a five-year continuous education pathway that combines master’s and doctoral studies. All courses and research are conducted in English, with additional opportunities to learn Japanese language and culture.
Ehime University, located in Matsuyama, Shikoku, collaborates with Kagawa and Kochi Universities through the Shikoku International Student Education Consortium (SISEC). This partnership supports the development of students who are committed to tackling key issues in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and environmental sustainability.
Entrance and tuition fees are competitively structured, and MEXT scholarship recipients are exempt from payment. Applicants are required to demonstrate English proficiency (minimum CEFR B1 or equivalent TOEFL/IELTS score).
