1. Classrooms
The Faculty of Agriculture provides 12 classrooms. Each room is equipped with air conditioning (AC), a whiteboard, and an LCD to display images, videos, software, or other learning materials. The room capacities are as follows:
- One classroom with a capacity of approximately 110 students
- Three classrooms with a capacity of 80-90 students
- Five classrooms with a capacity of approximately 40-50 students
- Three classrooms with a capacity of approximately 30 students
2. Laboratories
The Faculty of Agriculture has sixteen (16) laboratories across its three study programs. Each laboratory is led by a Head of Laboratory and is used for student practicum activities, training, and research conducted by both lecturers and students.
In the Soil Science Study Program, there are several laboratories, including the Soil Biology and Environmental Laboratory, Soil Physics and Land Reclamation Laboratory, Geography Information System (GIS) Laboratory, Soil Chemistry and Fertility Laboratory, and Land Resources Laboratory.
In the Agribusiness Study Program, the laboratories include the Agricultural Economics and Institutional Laboratory, Agribusiness Management Laboratory, Statistics and Data Science Laboratory, and Agribusiness Information Development Laboratory,
In the Agrotechnology Study Program, the laboratories consist of the Plant Protection Laboratory, Agricultural Biotechnology Laboratory, Plant Science Laboratory, Plant Breeding and Seed Technology Laboratory, and Crop Cultivation Technology.
3. Experimental Garden
There are two experimental farms dedicated to academic and scientific development. The first experimental farm covers 2.7 hectares and is located in Dusun Sempu, Wedomartani Village, Ngemplak District, Sleman Regency. The second farm is located within the Condongcatur Campus. These experimental farms are used for practical activities, business projects, training, and research conducted by lecturers and students. Below is a picture of Wedomartani Garden.
4. Greenhouses and Paranet Houses
Controlled-environment research can be carried out in greenhouses and paranet houses. The Condongcatur Campur has two (2) greenhouse units and two (2) paranet house units, while another paranet house is located at the Wedomartani Experimental Farm. The rectangular greenhouse is used for student and lecturer research, while the pyramid-shaped greenhouse serves for exhibitions and promotion of research outcomes. 5. Seminar Room
As an academic community, the campus requires facilities for scientific communication such as seminars, symposiums, congresses, and workshops. The Faculty of Agriculture has a seminar room with a capacity of 200 people, complete with a lobby area. The room is equipped with air conditioning, an LCD projector, and a high-quality sound system.
6. Library
The Faculty of Agriculture Library occupies a well-furnished space that houses textbooks, scientific journals, research reports, and various reference collections to support lecturer, practicums, reports, theses, and other learning activities. All students and lecturers of the Faculty of Agriculture, UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, are automatically library members and are required to have a membership card. The library is open on weekdays:
- Monday-Thursday: 08.00 – 12.00 and 13.00 – 15.30 WIB
- Firday: 08.00 – 11.00 and 13.00 – 14.30 WIB
7. Information Systems and Digital Support
To ensure smooth academic processes, a digital-based support systems called BIMA has been developed. This information system can be accessed anytime by students, either through personal internet connections or via the campus Wi-Fi hotspots.
The CBIS systems facilitates educational processes, motivation delivery, and comprehensive information services for students. The Faculty of Agriculture’s BIMA application can be accessed through the following websites:

8. Seminar, Discussion, Student Organization, and Prayer Facilities
Other supporting facilities at the Faculty of Agriculture include small meeting rooms in each department, which are used for student seminars, discussions, and training. Each Study Program Student Association (HMPS) has one dedicated room. The Student Executive Board (BEM) and other organizations also have their own offices. Muslim students can perform worship activities in the faculty’s musholla (prayer room).
