The Faculty of Agriculture at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta hosted an international Guest Lecture on “Strategic Management” featuring Charles Wassen, CEO of Dana Ltd., Hungary, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 14:00 to 15:00 WIB via Zoom Meeting.

The event began at 13:45 WIB with participants entering the Zoom room, followed by the opening by the MC, the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem and Bela Negara, and an opening remark from the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Aulia Puspita Ningrum. The main session commenced at 14:05 WIB, moderated by Dr. Rukmowati Brotodjojo, Head of the Master of Agrotechnology Study Program, featuring a lecture on Strategic Management delivered by Mr. Charles Wassen.

With over 25 years of experience in the automotive and industrial sectors across Europe, Charles Wassen shared insights on operational leadership, lean manufacturing, and electrification transformation, highlighting the importance of creating a psychologically safe work environment as a key element of effective leadership.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, announcement of e-certificates, and official closing at 15:00 WIB. This Guest Lecture is expected to broaden the perspectives of students and faculty members at the Faculty of Agriculture on strategic management, leadership, and international best practices.
